House Sitting Your Plants
Don’t know whose going to water your String of Dolphins without killing it while you’re away? Whether you’re gone for a short business trip, a week long vacation, or several months, we can offer a plant care service that will cover all your plant babies. We also offer recurring service for those who just need some extra special plant magic, vacation or not. Plant Sitting can include: watering, misting, re-filling those humidifiers, opening precious greenhouses or humidity domes for airflow and turning grow lights on. If there are other specific services you’d like us to provide during plant-sitting, we are more than willing to accommodate specific plant needs.
General Maintenance
Have you become overwhelmed by the amount of plants you have? Just need to give them some deserved TLC, but don’t have the time? Whatever the situation, we can set up ongoing maintenance to keep those bubs looking fresh year-round, or provide a one-off service to get your space under control in a giffy This service is appropriate for a variety of spaces: Offices, cafes, museums, hotels or households. Maintenance can include: trimming (haircuts!), propagating, pest control, dormancy control (Alocasia), pruning, diagnosing, and top dressing.
Planting and Re-potting
Are you intimidated by your humongous monstera? Don’t have any idea how or what to repot them in? No matter how out of control, large or small, we can offer services to re-pot your plants, and give those leggies room for more growth. We will also divide and cut plants properly as you see fit during this process. The Plant Sitters provides all soil, mixing media, and moss poles, which are included in the pricing. We can also provide guidance on pot size/type, but customers should provide their own pots and have them ready when we arrive
Curation
Provided for businesses and households alike, this is a creative process that opens up the doors to jungle masterpieces. Whether you need your entire collection reorganized, a special set up put together, or just need some plants curated and purchased to keep your storefront looking fresh, we’ve got you covered.
Plant Advice
Don’t know why your Philodendron’s new leaves are turning dark and mushy? The amount of information online can be overwhelming and just plain contradictory. Get our professional opinion, and put your mind at ease. This service is completely free. E-mail preferred (send nodes!).
Emergency Doctor
Did your bonsai get Aphids again? Think your plant is suffering from root rot? We provide house calls to help eradicate all those icky pests and save your babies from a wide variety of ailments. The Plant Sitters provide all necessary pest control, and assist in a plan of attack! Services include: General examination and identification, plan of action, plant quarantine, insecticide/fungicide application, and follow-up visits.
How much does Plant Sitting cost?
Below we have provided a guide so you can get a general idea of how we price our services. Our rates differ for long term sitting & complex plants!
2$ per Plant
If you have less than twenty plants, then we charge just $2 per Plant (with a ten plant minimum.) Residences with less than ten plants are charged a flat fee of 20$ per visit.
50$ per Hour
If you have more than twenty plants (amazing!) then we simply move to an hourly rate, at 50$ for the first hour, past the first hour we charge 15$ for every hour after that.
